One of the biggest issues facing the US hemp crop in 2019 was the higher levels of THC, making it marijuana in the eyes of the law. But a limit of 0.3% is unfounded in science or fact, going back at least 150 years or more.
Still today, there's a lot of confusion around cannabis -- including the basic definitions of 'marijuana' versus 'industrial hemp', and how to distinguish the two.
